CadFaster|Collaborate for SolidWorks® plug-in tool has the following features:

 

  • • installs as add-in for SolidWorks® 2010 or/and 2011;
  • • saves a CadFaster EXE file, which includes the compressed SolidWorks model embedded with an easy-to-use and compact 3D viewer;
  • • Exports SolidWorks assemblies/parts to CadFaster Cloud. CadFaster Cloud models are accessible by CadFaster iPad app;
  • • CadFaster EXE files have a unique ID enabling users to automatically connect with other users in document review through markups and co-viewing sessions;
  • • multiuser real-time markups and markup threads saved in unique views created by the users;
  • • markup status updates;
  • • real-time co-viewing sessions between multiple CadFaster EXE users, including
    • identification of participants and session Chairman,
    • model rotation, pan, zoom, hiding of elements,
    • markup review, adding concluding markups (by the Chairman),
    • measurement tool,
    • cross section tool,
    • exchanging Chairman during the session
    • • works in firewalled and proxy networks without configuration;
    • • compatible with Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.

  • • installs as add-in for Autodesk® Revit®. Supports Revit Architecture 2011/2012, MEP 2011/2012 and Structures 2011/2012;
  • • saves a CadFaster EXE file, which includes the compressed Revit model embedded with an easy-to-use and compact 3D viewer;
  • • Exports Revit models to CadFaster Cloud. CadFaster Cloud models are accessible by CadFaster iPad app;
  • • CadFaster EXE files have a unique ID enabling users to automatically connect with other users in document review through markups and co-viewing sessions;
